Steve Carroll offers a unique perspective on fishing, combining his love for engineering with his passion for chasing truly massive fish. If he's not out chasing the monster white sturgeon of the Pacific North-West, he is designing products that help anglers hit the water more effectively.

 

Steve has fished most of his life. From growing up on the banks of the Merrimack River in Massachusetts to fishing the San Joaquin Delta for striped bass in California. He has since set down roots in Idaho. He has participated in his local kayak tournament trail and found success in 2018 by winning the Kayak Fishing  Idaho Championship which was quickly followed up with an Angler of the Year win the following season.

 

Steve has been a big part of the Jackson Kayak fishing team for many years and continues to bring kayak sturgeon fishing to the community; teaching anyone who wants to learn the skills required to tackle big fish from a kayak.

 

Steve's latest fishing passion is creating specialty underwater camera mounts, rod locker storage solutions, and a host of other gear.
